Color Line closed Hirtshals - Oslo Tribute to a tight market

Color Line has closed the service Hirtshals - Oslo in May 2008 as a result of a negative financial development on this service. The vessel 'Prinsesse Ragnhild' is offered for sale. Color Line concentrates on their cruise ferry services Kiel - Oslo with the 'Color Fantasy' and the 'Color Magic', the two links from Hirtshals (DK) to Kristiansand and Larvik with the newbuildings 'SuperSpeed 1' and 'SuperSpeed 2' and the transport link Sandefjord - Stromstad (S) with stable development. From Denmark there are only two ferry lines to Oslo left: DFDS Seaways from Copenhagen and Stena Line from Frederikshavn.
