New ferry line between Kavkaz (RUS) and Zonguldak (TR) launched
The Russian Ferry Operator Anrusstrans has begun the commercial operation of ferry line Zonguldak (TR) - Caucasus (RUS) starting 20.11.2011. The vessel "ANT 2" has a capacity of 68 vans and 86 passengers. The frequency of the trips is one day a week in each direction: loading and departure from the port of Kavkaz - Thursday-Friday (weekly) and loading and departure from the port of Zonguldak - Sunday-Monday (weekly). The estimated sailing duration is 26 hours. AnRussTrans also offers a limited service for passengers and cars.
Established over 10 years ago the AnRussTrans Group brings together more than 1,000 employees working in various fields. Since October 2001, started its activities Cudohodnaya ANSHIP company undertaking the carriage of goods by sea. The company's fleet includes 14 ferries for different purposes and 5 tugs. Since 2004, "ANSHIP" actively operates vessels in the Black Sea, being the only ship-owner responsible for the offshore section of the direct railway-ferry crossing to Port Kavkaz (Russia) - Port Crimea (Ukraine). In February 2009 the line was open freight between the port Kavkaz (Russia) and the port of Varna (Bulgaria). In August 2010 the company began work in the Baltic Sea and commenced operation of cargo-ferry line «Ust-Luga - Baltiisk," and in February 2011 between the ports of Baltiisk (Russia) and Sassnitz (Germany).
