Polferries to close Bornholm link. Restructure of ferry network in 2011

Polish Baltic Shipping Co. (Polferries) ceased its Swinoujscie - Roenne/Bornholm ferry route in 2011. The company had already closed its ferry link to Copenhagen in 2010. However, there are four alternative ferry routes to Bornholm to choose from: Sassnitz/Germany, Koege/Denmark and Ystad/Sweden. Furthermore there remains a ferry in the summer season from Poland: Kolobrzeg to Roenne with KZP.
