T-Link Lines to close down. Route Genova Voltri - Sicily suspended.

T-Link Lines announced, with immediate effect the closure of its ferry link between Genova Voltri and Termini Imerese/Palermo (Sicily). Exactly two years after its introduction line the company has been forced by market conditions to suspend the operation of the line. In the past two years T-Link has delivered over 130,000 vehicles and 85,000 passengers decongestiing traffic in urban centers of the capitals of Liguria and Sicily, while attracting new flows of traffic and revitalizing the Port of Termini Imerese, in Sicily's industrial heartland which has been striving for economic regeneration. GNV is operating an alternative weekly route from Genova to Palermo.
