Fred. Olsen expands services: new route with a conventional ferry

Fred Olsen Express is to launch a new route between Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote from the ports of Las Palmas, Arrecife and Puerto del Rosario. Unlike the other Fred Olsen Express (fast craft) services, this route will be operated by the recently purchased conventional ferry Betancuria. The service will start in September and offers 3-4 weekly departures. This route is in direct competition with Naviera Armas and Acciona Trasmediterranea.
