DFDS takes over the route Paldiski - Hanko from Navirail
Estonian Navirail announced that, following an agreement between DFDS and Navirail, DFDS is to take over the freight and passenger route between Paldiski and Hanko in Finland. The ownership is expected to change hands on around 1 October 2016 after the deal has been approved by the competition authorities.
Until further notice, there will be no changes for you as a customer. Bookings will continue to be handled in the same way as before and via the same contacts in NAVIRAIL.
When DFDS takes over, they will continue using the current vessel on the route, the Ro-pax vessel SAILOR, and will continue operating it with the Estonian crew under the Estonian flag in an unchanged setup with 16 weekly departures. Current contracts, agreements and prices will also continue without changes until further notice.
